As you arrive at the entrance to the estate nothing will prepare you for the stunning view. As the gate draws back you will be greeted to a spectacular vista of the Indian Ocean and the glistening sea water sparkling below. Welcome to Karang Kembar Estate, an exclusive private villa in a spectacular location.

Karang Kembar Estate is 30 minutes from the airport, on the southern tip of this magical island in a region known as the Bukit Peninsula. An area that boasts some of Bali’s most glamorous villas, private estates and internationally-branded boutique hotels. The famous Uluwatu Temple, one of Bali’s finest is a ten minute car drive away.

The villa is nestled on a cliff top 90 metres above the pristine Kutuh Beach. The azure waters of the beach below are the playground of dolphins and migrating whales. Karang Kembar Estate commands an easterly aspect, ensuring glorious uninterrupted sunrise views and magical sunsets.

Unlike many villas in Bali, Karang Kembar has a unique contemporary design and comprises three light and airy pavilions - a master sleeping pavilion, a living pavilion and a guest pavilion. There are a total of 5 bedrooms in this architecturally stunning villa, making it an ideal retreat for families.

Every detail in the villa has been carefully thought out and the atmosphere is one of complete peace, tranquility and privacy. Guests staying at Karang Kembar have access to one of the most idyllic private beach houses on the island, which has its own plunge pool and overlooks the reef.

The experienced villa manager and his team of staff will do their utmost to ensure your stay is total luxury.

Villa Layout

The villa can sleep up to eight adults and two children very comfortably. All bedrooms have luxury beds and bedding which provide a perfect night’s sleep after a day spent either relaxing around the 21 metre infinity swimming pool or recovering from a burst of retail therapy, of which there is a lot to choose from.

The master sleeping pavilion comprises two bedrooms, a large bathroom with double washbasins, a shower and toilet, an outdoor bathing pavilion and a massage room.

The guest sleeping pavilion comprises three specious bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms and one with an open-air outdoor shower area where you can bathe under the stars on warm balmy evenings.

From the beds in the master and the guest master bedrooms you can enjoy some of the best views Bali has to offer. When the tide is in the waves crash against the shoreline below and you can almost feel the excitement of the ocean. When the tide is out you can see the local seaweed farmers going about their daily chores of collecting seaweed.

The airy and spacious living pavilion is located in the centre of the villa. At the west end of the living pavilion is a large Chinese-style dining table that seats 10 guests. At the east end is an area to simply relax and read a book or enjoy watching a movie or listening to a range of classical, jazz or pop music being played on a Bose Lifestyle system. A powder room is located off the main living pavilion and there is an outdoor shower by the swimming pool.

The very special private beach house is sheer heaven and when the tide is out there is nothing more magical than gathering up buckets and spades and hunting through the little pools of water for starfish, prawns, crabs and sea snails.

Villa Karang Putih Uluwatu

The sprawling 13,500 m2 cliff-top 5-star estate of Karang Putih is surrounded by a swath of green foliage and blooming tropical flowers, set amidst a backdrop of the stunning blue Indian Ocean of Uluwatu. A truly modern luxury home in architecture and design, Karang Putih is located only 18 kilometers from Ngurah Rai International Airport, and within 20 minutes drives from an international standard golf course.

The property itself features a wide variety of services and entertainment options, including, lawn tennis, lawn boules, a putting green, and a private grass tennis court. Nearby you can also engage in surfing, water skiing, reef fishing & big game fishing. Just below the villa estate a winding road will take you to a pristine white sand beach where the owners have built a private beach club for use by guests. The club is perfect for barbeques by the beach and afternoon swims. One of the most unique aspects of this villa is that it boasts its own licensed helicopter pad serviced by Air Bali. Airport transfer from the airport via helicopter is available.

The main estate is comprised of three buildings: the main house, the pool house, and the private guest house. Two swimming pools, 6 air-conditioned bedrooms, mature tropical gardens, and a breathtaking view are the main highlights of this property. High ceilings and generous proportions of the rooms create the feeling of endless space, accented by the open nature of the structures and the resulting abundance of natural light. All of the rooms and corridors are exquisitely decorated with beautiful & rare antiques from the Asian region.

Drive to Porte Chasseur, where the huge main structure is entered through massive double doors leading into a breathtaking black-walled entrance hall adorned with antiques and artwork from a variety of countries in the Asian region, particularly China. An oversized Buddha greets you, and behind its red and black Chinese wardrobe backdrop, you enter the open living space which overlooks the expanse of the grounds and the water.

Immediately to the right lies the massive and comprehensive villa library and study. Lined with white bookshelves filled with books and photos, this living space is comfortably homey, and also maintains the fantastic view of the grounds beyond sliding glass doors. Pick a book and curl up on the black armchair under the gothic-style mirror for a quiet afternoon or sit at the large desk and write a postcard home. Black rattan couches are situated on the library terrace, composing a formal sitting area. This provides another ideal setting from which to enjoy the bounties of the stunning garden views.

Passing through the library through the western door you arrive at a large open foyer dominated by a colorful modern painting of a thoughtful woman.

Carpeted stairs lead up to the second floor, where lies one of the grand master bedrooms. A small sitting room complete with leather couches and lined with Balinese paintings and a butterfly collection offers a quiet retreat from where to look out through the massive windows and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the ocean. The actual bedroom is filled with a gentle glow during the day, complimented by the light color scheme; beige terracotta floor tiles and dark beige walls. A massive abstract painting sets the backdrop to the king-sized bed. A writing desk sits opposite the bed, behind which is located the generous walk-in wardrobe and an oversized painting of a tropical shell. The ensuite bathroom is fitted with a spacious terracotta bathtub that sits beneath large windows. The room is enlivened with tropical plants.

Back down the stairs, one continues on to the western end of the home where the second master bedroom is located. Dark gray terracotta tiles on the floor are divided by the king-sized bed that dominates the room, set in the middle. It is situated as to offer an ocean view simply by reclining in the embrace of the generous white linens of the bed. Alternatively, sit on the white rattan couch at the foot of the bed, stretch your legs out on the rich Oriental rug, and watch the Para-gliders drift by from the neighboring launch site. Behind the bed is a massive white standing wardrobe, decorated with Chinese tiger panels set to either side of a massive antique mirror. To the north of the room is the entranceway to the enormous ensuite open-air bathroom, which could arguably stand as a living area of its own. Sunlight drenches the gray terracotta bathtub and wooden vanity. An additional open-air shower, overflowing tropical potted plants, and old sketches of boats are added highlights. The toilet is situated in a separate room.

The spacious bedroom verandah of dark gray terracotta connects to the rest of the first floor, and stretches east all the way to the opposite side of the villa where the incorporated open-air dining and formal sitting area are located. Stunning sunset views provide the ideal ambiance for friendly dinners with friends and family, or for a romantic meal for two. A standing Chinese screen offers added privacy to the large dining room table that can seat up to 20 people. Traditional Balinese limestone carvings of deities stand watch.

Hip with black and white checkered tiles, the fully equipped open European kitchen and walk-in pantry sit off to one side of the dining area. A breakfast bar offers an additional dining area for a casual meal. The house chef can cook up whatever you can dream up; all you have to do is ask. An eastern doorway from the kitchen leads to the staff quarters and laundry room.

To the opposite side of the kitchen is yet another relaxed sitting area. Here you will find the only entertainment system in the house, complete with satellite TV, DVD player, and stereo. The shelves surrounding the entertainment system are filled with antique pottery from a variety of countries.

A small hallway leads from the TV room to a rich red powder room. An elaborate Asian collage covers the door, and a Thai elephant walks the walls.

Next to this guest bathroom is the third bedroom. Ideal for children, it is fitted with twin beds and gentle sky blue walls. Playful finger paintings hang behind the beds, while colorful Bali boat kites adorn the standing wardrobe, which is filled with toys. The ensuite bathroom with shower is partially open air, as tall vertical windows open up to a walled-in rock garden. Pastel paintings of tropical birds bring the room to life. If desired, babysitters can be provided by the staff.

A grand sweeping staircase guarded by Singapore lion sculptures leads you out of the main house to the landscaped garden. A pathway leads through the cascading bougainvillea to the pool house. The pool house, situated right by the cliff edge, boasts kitchen facilities and a large open sitting area complete with a Teppanyaki table that seats eight. This tropical sitting area is lined with cushioned benches, which overlook the 17- meter salt water terrazzo swimming pool. A small raised sitting area offers the ideal location from which to gaze over the Indian Ocean to Nusa Lembongan, the neighboring island, or to observe the local fisherman and seaweed farmers below.

A large bedroom is connected to the sitting area. Bright yellow walls add to the modern tropical feel, as a dreamy blue painting of a boat adorns the wall. Mirrors to either side of the painting open up the room, furnished with a standing white rattan wardrobe and bedside table. The ensuite bathroom is done in blue with bamboo and terrazzo features. A Balinese carving forms the shower spout. A second doorway leads out to the sitting area, allowing this bathroom to double as a guest bath.

To the opposite side of the estate is the third structure of the villa. Sequestered in its own private space with draping gardens shaded by stoic tropical trees is the Guest House, complete with a private driveway. It functions as a fully self contained unit, compete with its own 6-meter swimming pool. A wooden balcony and alang-alang roof give this house a slightly more traditional feel, whilst up keeping the modern upbeat of the main house. An outdoor sitting area with umbrella gives a quaint beach feel.

Sliding glass doors lead into the first bedroom, painted in a bright yellow. Two single beds complete with striped yellow and white linens are back dropped by two shell paintings. A standing white wardrobe and dresser furnish the room, and thin vertical shelves decorated with vases, shells, and photos complete the homey feel. A bright foliage painting on the wall brings to life the ensuite open-air bathroom, complete with shower and beige terracotta features.

The second matching bedroom is located on the opposite side of the house. Modern green floral paintings add an enlivening splash of color to compliment the crisp linens of the king-sized bed. The ensuite bathroom features a large gray terracotta bathtub, and a vase featuring a collage of butterflies to match the lamps in the connecting bedroom.

The center of the guesthouse is dedicated to a large hallway and sitting area decorated with prized antiques and artwork drawing primarily from Indonesia. A small kitchen sits to the side, complete with a refrigerator and stove top cooking area.

This exceptionally grand, privately owned villa, Karang Putih, boasts one of the most breathtaking views and magical setting one can behold. Complimented by the modern architecture and fine furnishings, this makes the ideal vacation home for the discerning visitor who wants to enjoy complete privacy and peacefulness in a luxurious yet comfortable setting.

Villa The Seiryu (1br)

THE SEIRYU is a perfect example of accommodation that has all the elements of luxury. It is tastefully decorated with modern and fashionable interiors with a Japanese feel that runs throughout the whole property. Every thing possible has been considered for the comfort of the guests. Each villa exudes its own distinct ambience, created by independent furnishing styles and vibrant art.

With just 8 villas each with their own private swimming pools, the concept of THE SEIRYU is to unite couples. The word SEIRYU contains 2 meanings, SEI is to bind people and RYU is the dragon, which in Japan symbolizes the story of couple Dom. Therefore all the villas are one bedroom units designed for couples, whether on a honeymoon, a relaxing holiday or friends wishing to spend time together. The ‘no children’ policy allows a couple to really be a couple, and spend every moment reconnecting with each other.

The superb location in the centre of Seminyak is conveniently close to the beach, Bali’s trendy restaurants and the best shopping in town.

The villas
Each villa offers a deep sense of privacy and tranquility, perfect for relaxation. The immaculately designed villas consist of sleek modern en-suite master bedrooms, spacious and elegantly appointed living and dining area with kitchens, swimming pool with a tranquil bale and sundeck. The landscaping in the villas is refreshingly simple carrying a Japanese theme throughout.

The décor of the villas is understated yet stylish with warm shades and natural materials offering a somewhat rustic feel. The extensive use of natural elements and modern furnishing highlight, modern versus traditional, simple but luxurious and most importantly vibrant yet peaceful.

The villas take advantage of cutting technology and have Plasma Televisions, DVD, Stereo and high speed broadband internet access.

The Spaces
very corner of THE SEIRYU has the effect of producing gasps of surprise and delight when guests view it for the first time, art and symbolism is a key theme. The villas are linked by a hallway of 36 lights that have been custom made in the form of glass samurai swords, achieving a unique sense of space and mystery. The light that shines through the glass swords symbolize the strength of human relationships in the way that light cannot be cut, no matter how sharp an object is.

The Image of Dragons appears over 40 times in THE SEIRYU, they are an evocative symbol of artistic, intellectual and spiritual progression. The Dragon is relevant to the theme of “partnership”, the magnificent painting made up of 8 canvases in the lobby area expresses the season of spring; when couples meet. The artist has conveyed this meeting by painting the dragon’s body with a vast array of colorful flowers. This stage of the dragon is called “Byakko”.

You will also see the images of the dragon in the form of shadowgraph puppetry, the effect of shadow and light creates a look of dragons dancing which expresses the happiest age of life. This stage of the dragon is called “Sujyaku”.

Behind the reception desk there is a large dragon made from glass, this symbolizes any difficulties a couple may have, the thick glass represents the strength of a relationship. This stage of the dragon is called “Seiryuu”

Finally, the last dragon located in the lobby area is a dragon made in a Japanese style garden, using rocks, sand and greenery to create the form of the dragon. This symbolizes a couple living together in harmony. This stage of the dragon is called “Genbu”.

Villa Casabelle (5br)

Casabelle is located on the Bukit and faces south over the Indian Ocean . You will feel a long way from the hustle and bustle of touristy areas, yet are only 20 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from the main shopping and restaurant areas. Secluded beaches are only 10 minutes away where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets and stroll on white sand. An 18 hole championship golf course is 25 minutes away at Nusa Dua, while an 18 hole golf course, New Kuta Golf at the Pecatu Graha complex is only 5 minutes away.

A two story villa overlooking woodland and ocean, Casabelle is an idyllic home away from home. Casabelle has 3 bedrooms inside the main building and a separate guest house. The main building overlooks tropical gardens, a stunning infinity pool and deck.

Casabelle is designed with young children in mind and the pool is fenced off. The Villa Manager, Adri who has studied abroad and is fluent in English, will supervise the in-house staff to ensure that your holiday is as relaxing as possible. On call spa services are available to refresh your body and soul. A car and driver are available on request to take you to the many destinations which Bali has to offer.

Surronding

Dreamland, Padang Padang, Batu Layah, Balangan, Jimbaran and Nusa Dua are the most famous beaches near Casabelle. The secluded white sandy beaches and surf breaks are well known amongst professional surfers. Families can enjoy strolling along the private beaches away from the crowds. Pack a picnic basket and work on your suntan, just make sure you always swim between the flags.

Uluwatu temple is Bali ’s guardian of the south. This ancient temple is situated on the tip of the cliff where, at sunset each day, a magnificent Kecak Dance is held with more than a hundred male dancers, performing the Ramayana epic.

Bali offers a wide variety of world class cuisine, all of which is easily accessible by car. The villa manager will provide details upon request.
