Location
Quiet and safe, Villa Pushpapuri is situated close to the pretty village of Ketewel on Bali’s south-east coast. The streets of the village are lined with leafy trees; a small intersection is the venue of a fruit and vegetable market, and colourful temple ceremonies are a common sight. The Sanur-Kusumba by-pass, from Seminyak to Candi Dasa, has made this rural area accessible to the rest of the island and positions the villa within easy driving distance of Bali’s tourist attractions.

Pushpapuri is just 45 minutes’ drive from Bali’s international airport, 30 minutes from the cultural town of Ubud, ten minutes from Sukawati art and handicraft market, ten minutes from Sanur, and 30-45 minutes from the restaurants, shops and nightlife of Kuta and Seminyak.

The diversity of the island presents everything from diving, cruising and trekking, to adventure sports and theme parks. The accommodation comprises a Living & Dining Pavilion, a Games Room, and four bedrooms including the two-storey Master Suite complete with an upstairs study and a DVD room.

The Living & Dining Pavilion is a stand-alone, rectangular pavilion with glass walls on three sides designed to maximise the ocean views. The sliding glass doors can be fully opened to create an open-air tropical living experience enhanced by sea breezes and the sounds of the waves. The room is furnished with sofas and lazy chairs to create a sitting area at one end, while a dining table for eight is positioned at the other end next to a small kitchen.

The Master Suite presents a bedroom furnished with a king-size bed and equipped with a satellite TV and DVD/CD player. There is also an ensuite dressing area with twin washbasins, and a garden bathroom fitted with a rainshower and Jacuzzi. Upstairs is a cosy, air-conditioned sitting room complete with a DVD player, a Playstation, and a corner sofa that can be converted to twin beds. There is also a study offering magnificent views.

The Master Suite

To awaken in the Master Suite is a truly magical experience. The view from your kingsize bed overlooking the dense tropical palms provides a constant reminder of the untapped natural surroundings of the estate. The bedroom feels as though it is “floating” over the jungle below

The yellow-themed master suite comprises an air-conditioned study room, which is almost completely surrounded by glass, an air-conditioned TV room with a wall-mounted, 32-inch screen satellite TV, DVD player and quality sound system, a bedroom, dressing area and bathroom. One Bedroom Villas

Each air-conditioned bedroom is housed within a self-contained pavilion, secluded and private. There are two one bedroom villas, the “red room” and the “blue room” which both accommodate comfortable queen size beds.

Both bedrooms enjoy plenty of light, and each boasts its own verandah at the front, affording wonderful views of the valley. Twin Bed Villa

One villa has been specifically designed with friends or children in mind and has two twin beds within a similarly designed setting. The beds can also be moved together to accommodate couples

Each of the cream terrazzo bathrooms are bordered by a bulrush pond, and each features a sunken soaking tub, a toilet within its own frosted glass cubicle, and a spacious, glass shower cubicle. Glass doors fold open to create an open-air experience. Guests’ privacy is protected by the presence of peaceful Buddha statues, each one resting in front of the high walls that girdle each pond.

Living Areas

This is the social hub of the villa, an impressive symmetrical two tier building which presides over the terraces and swimming pool. Villa Puri Tupai Ubud Bali consists of two traditional “Joglo” houses, incorporating the best of Javanese and Balinese architecture. Left wing and right wing. Left wing contains two bedrooms, main kitchen, living area, writing table. Right wing contains two bedrooms, bar area, day bed, and entertainment mezzanine lounge.

Bedrooms
There are total four bedrooms (three double and one twin) which can accommodate up to eight guests in genteel comfort. All bedrooms are with air-conditioning system and en-suite bathroom but without bathtub.

Living and Dining Area
As mentioned above that each “Joglo” is equipped with a spacious living area which surrounded by glass windows and doors. On the living area there is sofa, day lazy bed, writing table, bar are and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern cooking utensils and operated by a good chef. The dining table seats 8 persons in total.

On the right wing there is an entertainment mezzanine lounge where there is the satellite TV, DVD and VCD Player. The stereo system is set to entertain the whole compound.

Swimming Pool
This large swimming pool is strategically positioned adjacent to the lawn tennis court to maximize the chance to enjoy the surrounding nature. Close to the pool, there are two more “Jineng” where guests may relax and spend the days.
